  • Sweet and salty — peanut butter cookies in a nutshell! (Ha!) We luv peanut butter cookies at our house, and are always on the lookout for a great new way to make them! I plan to give these a try! So glad I found ur site! Great post and pics!

  • Yum! I want to try one!

  • Oh man this looks delicious! And your photographs are beautiful! Everything here looks great!

Yay! found the recipe! I needed to re-check the ingredients, are a bit vague (since being a Mum). I’ve been baking these off-and-on over 20 yrs now (that sounds so long ago), and I consider it one of the best (peanut butter) cookie recipes in the world. So cool I found it despite not having the Australian Woman’s best cookie recipe book. Tip – the lemon rind make these cookies, so never miss it out!!!

  • That is exactly how I felt when I found this recipe in the book. I threw out so many cook books due to a lack of space but am very pleased to say that some of my favourite Australian Womens Weekly’s remained. I hope you enjoy baking and eating these as much as I did. 🙂

I’ve been making this particular recipe for many years,
My mum taught me at a young age to cook.
These were always a favourite and now my grandchildren
    enjoy them.
