2 tablespoons\u00a0honey (depending how sweet you like it)<br \/>\n2 tablespoons coconut oil<br \/>\n200g tapioca (arrowroot) flour<br \/>\n250g homemade almond milk<br \/>\n8\u00a0eggs<br \/>\n1 1\/2 teaspoons bicarb soda<br \/>\n3 teaspoons apple cider vinegar<br \/>\n2 teaspoons\u00a0ground cinnamon<br \/>\npinch of salt<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #346c17;\">Preparation<\/span><br \/>\nPreheat a\u00a0small pan over a medium heat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Place almonds into TM bowl and\u00a0chop\u00a0for\u00a0<strong>12 seconds <\/strong>on <strong>speed 8.\u00a0 <\/strong>Remove and set aside.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Add coconut oil and honey to TM bowl and heat on<strong> 70\u00b0C<\/strong> for\u00a0<strong>2 minutes<\/strong>\u00a0at <strong>speed 2 <\/strong>or until completely melted.\u00a0 Add all remaining ingredients along with reserved ground almonds.\u00a0 Mix for\u00a0<strong>20 seconds <\/strong>on <strong>speed 4.\u00a0 <\/strong>Scrape\u00a0around\u00a0sides of bowl,\u00a0and mix for further\u00a0<strong>20 seconds <\/strong>on <strong>speed 4, <\/strong>or until well combined.*\u00a0 Place a small amount of butter into the pan.\u00a0 Pour enough mixture into the pan to cover the base and cook until you see bubbles starting to form on the surface of the pancake.\u00a0 Flip over and cook on the other side until golden brown.\u00a0 Remove each pancake from the pan and keep warm until ready to serve.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Serve with fresh fruit and maple syrup.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #346c17;\">My tips:<\/span> *This is quite a wet mixture, not thick like\u00a0some pancake batters.\u00a0 This makes it easier to pour and to cover the base of the pan.\u00a0 *Don&#8217;t be tempted to turn the heat up too high and cook them quickly.\u00a0 They will burn and not cook all the way through.\u00a0 Leave them on a medium heat and wait until you see the bubbles forming.\u00a0 *I found these really filling and only needed two for my breakfast.\u00a0 *Use any spice that you like in place of cinnamon.\u00a0 *These will keep in the fridge really well once cooked.\u00a0 They can also be frozen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodfourthought.com.au\/blog\/?attachment_id=3179\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3179\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-3179\" title=\"(paleo) Pancakes\" src=\"http:\/\/www.foodfourthought.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/PS6275-x-2-with-C-575x486.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"575\" height=\"486\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.foodfourthought.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/PS6275-x-2-with-C-575x486.jpg 575w, http:\/\/www.foodfourthought.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/PS6275-x-2-with-C-300x253.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.foodfourthought.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/PS6275-x-2-with-C-150x126.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.foodfourthought.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/PS6275-x-2-with-C-400x338.jpg 400w, http:\/\/www.foodfourthought.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/PS6275-x-2-with-C.jpg 807w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 575px) 100vw, 575px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ease: 8.5\/10.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Easy enough to do on Mother&#8217;s Day!<br \/>\n<strong>prep time:\u00a010 minutes<\/strong><strong>.\u00a0<\/strong><strong><br \/>\ncooking time:\u00a020 minutes\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>total:\u00a030 minutes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>taste: 8\/10<\/strong>\u00a0From G, given he isn&#8217;t strict paleo and loves traditional flour pancakes that is a\u00a0really good score!\u00a0 Personally I would say <strong>9\/10\u00a0<\/strong>from me.\u00a0 I loved these.\u00a0 I felt they had so much more flavour than other pancakes I&#8217;ve eaten.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>would I make it again:\u00a0 Every weekend, <\/strong>if I had time \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mother&#8217;s Day is the one day of the year where most of us stop, even if only briefly, to recognise the AMAZING job that Mothers do in this world.
